Let me first say my interest and passion for this Nordic country started with business travel to Aarhus, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Billund (home to Legos), Odder and Lystrup. The Danes were open, hospitable and interested in learning about me and more about the United States.
Equally impressive were the open forum business meetings where titles were parked at the door. Everyone’s input was welcome and heard. Since my first visit to this country I have been following their impressive progress towards achieving 100% of their energy from renewable resources by 2050. Bicycles, wind energy, Nordic cuisine, and sustainable projects all play a role in achieving this goal.
All that said, I look forward to returning to Denmark and casting a wider net on my next journey.
