Croatia has two climates: Mediterranean and Continental. Needless to say visiting Split, Croatia in the prime of the summer is an invitation to enjoy the Adriatic sea. Summer is the hottest season, with highs reaching the mid-80s during the day and the 60s at night.
Today we rented a small boat from the marina right outside of Le Meridien Resort. Our destination:Brač. Forty minutes later our Captain dropped anchor and we enjoyed swimming in the turquoise waters off the coast of Brac. Sun was shining, the sea was refreshing, crystal clear and exhilarating.
Do not miss an afternoon to soak up the Mediterranean climate and the islands so close to the coast.
And, yes, we are returning to Croatia!
