Discovering the Charms of Savannah, Georgia: A Luxurious Retreat at Perry Lane Hotel

Exploring the Low Country:

Savannah, Georgia, is a city steeped in Southern charm and rich history. Its cobblestone streets, antebellum architecture, and lush greenery transport visitors to a bygone era. The Low Country, with its marshlands and tidal estuaries, adds another layer of allure to this coastal city.

One highlight of my trip was immersing myself in the natural beauty of the area. From strolling along the scenic Riverfront Plaza to taking a leisurely boat tour along the Savannah River, every moment was filled with picturesque vistas and a sense of tranquility.

Savannah: A Tapestry of Culture and History:

Savannah’s rich cultural tapestry is woven with influences from Native American, African, and European heritage. The city’s historic district boasts the largest urban National Historic Landmark District in the United States, offering a glimpse into its storied past.

During my stay, I wandered through the squares adorned with moss-draped oak trees, visited historic homes-turned-museums, and indulged in the local cuisine at charming cafes and restaurants. Whether exploring the hauntingly beautiful Bonaventure Cemetery or delving into the city’s role in the Civil War, Savannah’s history came alive at every turn.

Location, location, and location is a phrase often used in real estate. In this article it refers to the most convenient map coordinates for seeing all that Savannah, GA has to offer their guests.  This venue will prove hard to beat. We checked in, enjoyed a glass of champagne, dropped our bags off to the well-appointed room,  and headed to the fifth floor rooftop bar, The Peregrin.  The view is spectacular, somewhat like zooming in on a camera to see the details of the city outlined so clearly. Access to all the gems Savannah has to offer visitors and friends are within a stone’s throw from Peregrin! Let the weekend begin.
