Want to experience the most enchanting city in the South? Plan your stay at Mansion on Forsyth Park, Autograph Collection (Marriott Hotels), visit the park across the street, walk down to the waterfront and see the “Waving Girl”. Make a stop at Leopold’s Ice Cream Parlor ( opened in 1919), visit the cemetery after dark and admire the oak trees covered in Spanish moss. This city and the people took my breath away.

While traveling to low country last summer I found this gem of a restaurant just a few blocks from my hotel. The people were friendly, welcoming and the food was over-the-top delicious. I will return soon.
