The restaurant has a cozy and stylish interior, as well as a plant-filled outdoor patio. Piano Strada is known for its exceptional bread, pasta, and sandwiches, as well as its natural wine selection. Food porn! Enzo is the best kitchen in town(from a Roman resident). Despite its popularity among Romans and lately among the international visitors, he is still serving in a tiny, little typical Roman restaurant immersed in the historical and magical working-class district of Trastevere. Everything is delicious and Enzo is open for lunch and dinner. No reservations accepted for lunch; You may have to wait 30 minutes for a table. Dinner reservations accepted. Note to self: Book at least 10 days in advance.

MUST SEE – MUST DO
Domus Aurea was a vast and lavish palace complex built by Emperor Nero after a great fire destroyed much of Rome in 64 AD. It was designed to showcase Nero’s wealth and power, with gold, jewels, ivory, and exquisite paintings decorating its walls and ceilings. His successors, who tried to erase his memory by stripping the palace of its treasures and burying it under other buildings considered Domus Aurea a symbol of Nero’s tyranny and extravagance. The palace remained hidden for centuries until they accidentally rediscovered it during the Renaissance.
To me this is a must-see attraction in Rome — even if you are not into history or guided tours. Located close to the Colosseum, within less than 5 minutes walking distance, you will find the main entrance under the Parco del Colle Oppio. Only guided tours are available a few days a week.
Just 15 minutes walking distance from the Colosseum area, you will arrive at the most fabulous square in the world. Piazza Campidoglio. The square was designed by Michaelangelo and surrounded by beautiful buildings and statues, all of which are now the Capitolini Museum of Rome. A single day is hardly enough to see all this museum has to offer to the world!
Vintage
Monti area is best for vintage shopping. Within 7 minutes walking distance from Colosseum area, there is a shop without a name. It’s on via del Boschetto 101 (across from a restaurant). This vintage shop has the best vintage collectors’ items. They specialize in period restoration so all objects are in fabulous shape. Slightly more expensive but real collectors’ items. Bargaining expected.
